Terms and Conditions

Metro North Health means Metro North Hospital and Health Service ABN 18 496 277 942 a body corporate established by the Hospital and Health Boards Act 2011 (QLD) and having its principal place of business at Butterfield Street, Herston, 4029 in the State of Queensland and includes any of its associated entities, insurance providers, agents, employees, officers, contractor, directors, representatives or assignees. 

By completing this registration, you confirm your attendance at the Event and acknowledge these terms and conditions.

You consent to Metro North Health taking photos of you at the Event and using them in any medium we choose for marketing purposes. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable licence to use such images for marketing purposes. If you do not wish for this to occur, please notify the organising staff onsite at the Event. 

Privacy

Metro North Health will use the information you provide on the registration form to provide updates and information related to the Event. By registering, you agree that we may process your information in accordance to these terms. We will treat your information with respect. We will otherwise treat your details in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer

The Event program is correct at the time of publishing, but the event Organisers reserve the right to change the topics and presenters if necessary. Any substitutions or alterations will be updated at nextcarehealthconference.com.au

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • any liability for any loss, death, injury or damage which you may suffer (directly or indirectly) in connection with or arising out of your participation in the Event, is excluded; and
  • you release Metro North Health from any liability and expressly waive any claims you may have against us arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Event

Delegates should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.

Cancellation/Refunds

All cancellations must be made in writing to MetroNorth-Events no later than 14 days prior to Event Date. Cancellations received on or after 14 days prior to Event Date will not be issued a refund.

It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of Metro North Hospital and Health Service to change the content and timing of the program, the speakers, the dates or the venue. In the unlikely event of the program being cancelled we will make a full refund of the registration fee but disclaim any further liability. Limited spaces are available and you may not be successful in registering. 

COVID cancellation

If the Event needs to be cancelled due to government regulations, lockdowns or for any other reason the organiser will work with stakeholders to either postpone or cancel the Event. 

Attending this event, you agree to abide by all government regulations including to but no limited COVID regulations including vaccination requirements.  

For networking purposes, Metro North Health may make the name, position and organisation of each attendee available to delegates in the form of a delegate list. If you advise you do not wish for your details to be shared, your name will not appear on the delegate list 

Tickets are NOT to be shared between multiple people and are issued in one delegate name.
