#NextCare 2021

The expanded 2021 conference started the day with the addition of the Executive Leaders Program Alumni breakfast with well known AFL legend Leigh Matthews.

Over the two days, Australia’s most distinguished journalist, Kerry O’Brien kept the program running while delegates were enjoying more than 20 inspiring speakers.

Day one featured self-made businesswoman Janine Allis, executive advisor and futurist Phill Nosworthy as well as well known clinicians Dr David Rosengren, Dr Dinesh Palipana OAM and Dr Sarah Coll just to name a few.

At the end of day one, the Welcome Reception featured the 2021 Bond University Sustainable Healthcare awards and a range of engaging entertainment including a jazz trio and roving performers.

An early start on day two gave delegates the opportunity to hear personal storied from three-time Paralympic gold medallist, Kurt Fearnley AO at the Leaders Breakfast.

Highlights of day two included keynotes from Matina Jewell who shared her perspective from front-line leadership, as well as trend forecaster Michael McQueen. The day wrapped up with some laughs from improv comedian Simon Dowling and how we should say “yes, and…”.

12 specialised concurrent sessions offered the opportunity for delegates to personalise their conference experience; And a healthcare focused tradeshow provided the ideal networking space during lunch and tea breaks.
